Colleen Abernethy brings more than 30 years of industry experience to her role as the Founder and Managing Director of Platinum DMC Collection.
After a time on the client side, Colleen crossed the aisle to the supplier side over 20 years ago to join Networld/StarCite Destination Solutions.
With Platinum DMC Collection, Colleen is lucky to be able to exercise her true passions – building client relationships and providing unique & tailored global solutions.
FUN FACT
In addition to (literally) swimming with sharks, Colleen is an ace “Wheel of Fortune” player. Her claim to fame is solving a seven-word puzzle with one letter….
Brad Williams
Managing Partner & Eastern Regional Director
Brad's Bio
Managing Partner & Eastern Regional Director Brad spent 25 years on the client side of the industry, working for prestigious meeting and incentive agencies in the Midwest.
He joined Platinum as a Partner in 2015 and subsequently moved to The Big Apple to focus on the Eastern Region. His background allows him to look at things with a unique client perspective.
FUN FACT
Brad is a Certified Public Accountant but tossed that aside at the age of 25 to become a Trip Director, which seemed like a lot more fun.
Debbie Disch
Mountain/Western Canada Regional Director
Debbie's Bio
Debbie spent over 30 years on the client side selling and operating incentive programs and meetings.
She came over to the supplier side in 2016 and loves building new relationships with her clients and our DMCs and becoming a true partner to both.
Having walked in the client’s shoes, she quickly grasps their needs and becomes a tireless advocate.
FUN FACT
Debbie is a certified sharpshooter with the NRA.
Josh Waldorf
Mid-Atlantic Regional Director
Josh's Bio
Josh joined Platinum DMC Collection in 2016 and has concentrated on the Mid-Atlantic Region and coordinating special projects. Josh brings insights to his clients from his 25 years’ experience in marketing, sales and administration in various sectors of the travel industry – incentive travel, tourism board, association management and meetings management.
FUN FACT
Josh has been bitten by the acting bug and has had roles in community theater productions including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and A Few Good Men.
Ellen Bloch
Senior Project Manager
Ellen's Bio
Ellen brings more than 40 years of industry experience to Platinum DMC Collection. She joined Platinum in 2016 as Senior Project Manager. She has held management positions with Eastern Airlines, Finnway, and Networld as Regional Vice President and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. FUN.
FUN FACT:
In her spare-time Ellen creates cakes and cookies for children’s parties.
